Wildcats Beat Back Laker Surge, 35-28

Courtney Dalcourt amassed 354 yards of total offense as host Franklin-Simpson (2-2, 1-1 Class 4A District 2) held off Russell County (1-3, 0-1) Friday night, 35-28.
Dalcourt gained 193 yards rushing and scored twice, while finishing 10-of-14 passing for 161 yards and another score. The Wildcats gained 460 yards in all.
Bryon Ellis finished 14-of-23 passing for 164 yards and one touchdown to lead the Lakers' effort.
Next week, Russell County hosts Logan County while Franklin-Simpson visits Warren East.
