The most prolific homerun hitter in the history of Kentucky girls' high school softball has made her college choice. Rowan County slugger Amber Riddle signed with Morehead State Tuesday afternoon in front of family and friends at her high school.

Riddle rewrote the record books during her junior season with 19 homers and 65 runs scored. She already holds the state record in career home runs (38), grand slams (4), single-season RBI's (77) and doubles (25).

Riddle will add to her record-setting numbers with her senior season to come this spring. Riddle enjoyed a career-high 8 RBI game against Morgan County last year. She finished the season with a .569 average and pushed her career RBI mark to 195, which currently ranks second in state history.
