LCA falls to Elizabethtown, 56-50

Lexington Christian, one of the favorites to take home the title at the Girls Sweet 16, falls in their tournament opener.
Elizabethtown led 27-15 at the half, before the Lady Eagles closed to within one, 39-38 after three quarters.
Sarah Beth Barnette led LCA with 15 points. Anna Martin pitched in 14 points and Courtney Clifton had 11.
Natalie Greenwell and Alex Jones led the winners with 19 each.
Lexington Christian finishes the season 29-5.
