Becky Abner Osborne will take over North Laurel softball program
North Laurel High School would like to announce Rebecca Abner Osborne as the Head Softball Coach for the 2012 season. This will be the storied program’s 5th head coach in 20 years.

Former HS All American, Miss KY Softball, KY Gatorade POY, KHSAA State Tournament MVP & Champion, and UK Wildcat / Becky Abner Osborne returns to North Laurel High School to lead the softball program in search for their second KHSAA State Championship.

Osborne, who was elected to the KY Softball Hall of Fame in 2007, will inherit a team that returns 7 starters from last season’s 13th Region Championship squad.

“Becky was an integral part of the biggest sports accomplishments in North Laurel History during her playing days here. We were a force across Kentucky and the nation with her on the mound and we have the records to show it. I am looking forward to several more victories and championships with her leading the program.
