The Betsy Layne Bobcats are 3-0, something the school has never done. Undefeated through three games with the average margin of victory sitting at roughly 27 points.
This Friday night, coach Jonathan Parsons' squad will play host to Knott County Central. To keep up their winning ways. The Bobcats know they need to do more than just look at the season one game at a time.
"It's one play at a time is what we go by. Every play by play. The big saying I've said my whole life as a coach is everything every time and that's what it is. Every time you do a play, it could be your last play, so every one of them it's everything every time," says Parsons.
"We call it Bobcat brotherhood. Once they start on the team and stuff, they finish. It's something that we have an admirable thing. We accept nothing, once they're there no matter what. When they come to practice everything at home is forgotten."
