The #5 Breathitt County Bobcats are undefeated through five games this season...
Now on the horizon...the eighth ranked Hazard Bulldogs...Coach Mike Holcomb knows to keep his team motivated and playing well...he'll have to get them to focus on the little things...the things that typically come easy and natural...if his Bobcats can take care of those small tasks...they should keep rolling through 2011.
Coach Mike Holcomb - "Anytime you feel like your team has a pretty good win you got to stay on the little bitty things and we do really, not just coaching talk, we got to get better. A lot of fundamental things. Sometimes you get caught up in the game and you get away from those things. We got to get back to blocking and tackling a lot better. We sort of believe in taking care of ourself and worry about what we do and what we got to get better at. We're going to take a look at the videos and the films of Hazard and what they do."
Meanwhile... the number eight Hazard Bulldogs know they need to score on Friday against Breathitt County ... last week against Lexington Christian ... the Dawgs put up 43 points on the Eagles ... Coach Mark Dixon knows Breathitt's defense will come hungry... so his squad must find a way to put points on the board.
Coach Mark Dixon - "Offensively, we just try to take care of the football. We're going to do the things we've always done. We're going to throw the ball when feel like we need to throw it. We're going to run when we need to run it. We're going to try to be balanced as much as we can. But we also know that we got to control the football and take care of it."
