The Leslie County eagles will be taking on Allen Central this Friday. The Eagles are 1-1 on the young season and coming off a huge 40-10 victory over Magoffin County. But the Rebels have had two weeks to prepare since beating Jenkins in their opener. So how does Leslie coach Eddie Melton see his team matching up on the field?

"Well Allen Central is a big team. Got big boys. A senior quarterback. He's a great leader on the field, you can tell that. He does a great job of commanding their offense. Actually, they do a little more passing here then I've seen in the past."

They get a good mix of run and pass and we've got just a bunch of big physical boys. You gotta be ready to play come Friday night because they're going to knock you around if you're not ready."
