The unbeaten Pikeville Panthers are prepping for a winless Sheldon Clark squad. Coach Chris McNamee knows despite the two teams records, it will be a tough matchup for his team playing a speedy Cardinals bunch from Class 3A. But likes what he's seen from his team the first three weeks, especially a gutsy performance last Friday, pulling out a 21-20 win over Raceland.

"Well you know, Sheldon Clark is a good football team that has a lot of speed. I know they lost a lot last year, but Coach Hagger does a great job down there at Sheldon Clark and has for years. We look for a good football game here Friday night," says coach McNamee.

"You know we've been in some tight football games. I like the way our kids have responded. It seems like in years past if we get down a little bit we start hanging our heads and give up. This group has really fought the entire four quarters and that's something I'm real proud of and hopefully we can continue that."
