WKYT Forecast
Light snow is still flying across parts of the Bluegrass on this Saturday evening. Winter Weather Advisories will continue until 10pm Saturday night. Then as drier air moves in the skies will gradually clear. It stays blustery with wind chills overnight down to zero at times. The actual temperature will dip to 11. As high pressure builds to our east the winds will still be chilly out of the northwest at 15-20 mph but skies will be mainly sunny on Sunday. Highs are expected to top out near 32 but it will feel colder than that due to the wind. Sunday night temperatures will take a dive back into the teens with mostly clear skies.

As another area of low pressure approach the clouds will move back in during the day on Monday. Highs will reach 39 degrees. We'll see a round of snow once again late Monday night into Tuesday as the surface low moves across the region. Accumulations are expected to be much like the snow event we had Friday night with a general 1-2" in the viewing area. This blanket of snow will not stick around long due to a warm front and snow changing to rain on Valentine's Day. Highs should reach near 40 behind the front. The rest of the week we can expect more mild weather with a chance of scattered showers on Thursday.

Have a great weekend!
