Send Man charged in cold case brought back to Kentucky

A man charged in a cold case murder is back in Kentucky just nine months after a grand jury indicted him.

State Police say they have brought Shane Elkins back to Kentucky.

He is accused of killing Michael Dean Bartley in Morgan County in 1998.

The grand jury indicted Elkins on murder charges back in August. He was in a West Virginia jail on unrelated charges at the time.
