Teen victim of hit and run

ROCKCASTLE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/WYMT) - A family tells us they are searching for answers after a teenager was the victim in a hit and run in Rockcastle county this morning.

The family tells us 17-year-old Jared Johnson is in critical condition at UK Hospital after he was hit while walking on Scaffold Cane Road around two o'clock this morning.

They tell us he is clinging to life and has been in and out of surgeries nearly all day.

The family says they are requesting prayers.
