Send Cats open NCAA Tournament play against Kent State

UK opens NCAA Tournament baseball play on Friday afternoon against Kent State.

The Wildcats are the No. 2 seed in the Gary, Ind. regional.

UK coach Gary Henderson said earlier this week that he likely would start Taylor Rogers (6-4, 4.31 ERA) against the No. 3 seeded Golden Flashes.

The Wildcats are making their seventh NCAA Tournament appearance and the first since 2008.
