Anthony Davis returned to Team USA Thursday following an injury to Blake Griffin of the L.A. Clippers. The NBA's top draft pick scored 9 points in the USA's exhibition victory over the Dominican Republic.
Griffin reportedly suffered a torn meniscus and will undergo arthroscopic surgery sometime next week putting him out of the London games.
Team USA routed the Dominicans 113-59, Kevin Durrant led the way with 24 points. Davis never entered the game until the fourth quarter.
Prior to the exhibition UK coach John Calipari announced that the game would be his last as coach of the Dominican Republic.
