PHYLLIS, Ky (WYMT) - A Pike County family is looking for answers after their home was burglarized over the weekend.
Zachary Oney, who lives at the home with his parents where the burglary took place, said he and his parents are scared they could be hit again.
The spot where Tina Hylton's truck once sat at her home in Phyllis, Kentucky now is empty.
"I came home from the flea market Saturday afternoon and found the door pealed open. I did not even notice the truck until my mother come home," said Oney.
Since then, her silver truck, along with jewelry and more than a dozen guns, have been missing.
"I do not sleep. I have not eaten hardly anything since this has went on," said Hylton.
Kentucky State Police are investigating the thefts but said it is too early to determine a suspect in the case. However, the family believes a stranger they met weeks ago could be involved.
"We had run him off from this property previously," said Oney.
They tell WYMT they are hoping for answers and the return of their stolen property.
