Many people had some fun on the green Friday, all for a good cause.
The annual Crimestoppers Golf Scramble took place at the Marriott Griffin Gate in Lexington.
25 teams of golfers gathered to support Bluegrass Crimestoppers, which operates solely on contributions.
Crimestoppers encourages members of the local community to help police fight crime.
The program offers anonymous ways for people to give tips, which often lead to arrests.
Tipsters are also eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000. Those rewards are funded through donations and through fundraisers like the golf scramble.
A silent auction was also held as part of the event.
