Lexington police say a man walked into the Rite Aid on Polo Club Boulevard and showed a gun to one of the employees stocking shelves.
Police say he told the clerk he wanted money. The clerk made a disturbance which notified another employee.
Police say the suspect was spooked and turned to run out of the store.
One of the employees chased the suspect and threw a bottle of lotion at him.
Police want to identify the suspect.
