Police say the victim had just gotten to her home on Cromwell Way around 12:30 AM when she noticed a man standing in her garage.
Police say the suspect hit the woman several times in the face. He told the victim if she didn't shut up, he would kill her.
Police say the woman was able to fight off her attacker by scratching his eyes.
The victim was able to help police come up with a composite sketch of the suspect.
