On August 22nd at the Walmart in Hamburg Pavilion, Lexington Police say a man purchased computer software using someone else's check.
"The victim who lives in Alabama reported that her checking account had been compromised and one of her checks presented at a local Walmart in Lexington", says Detective Gene Haynes with Lexington Police.
Police are hoping someone can tell them who the person is.
"The suspect is approximately 400 pounds, a white male and as he exited the store left in a white Mitsubishi Eclipse that was parked in front of the store possibly in a handicap spot. The car was also a convertible", says Detective Gene Haynes.
