Lexington Police are looking for a woman they say stole another woman's identity, and is caught on surveillance cameras at the Target on Reynolds Road on December 7th.
"We had a female subject from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania call the Lexington Police Department to file a report referencing identity theft. She advised an unknown subject had opened up a line of credit throughout Target using her personal identification," says Sergeant Jody Stowers with Lexington Police.
The woman purchased $1,000 worth of electronic equipment with that credit card that she opened up in someone else's name. The victim has no idea who this person is.
"She said she doesn't know anybody. Hasn't been here. Totally unknown subject to her," says Sergeant Jody Stowers.
Police are hoping you can help them catch her.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
