Lexington Police are looking for a man for a forgery case they are investigating.
They say he could be responsible for stealing from someones social security check from their mailbox and later cashing it at Our Market on East 5th Street in Lexington.
"Investigators were able to get a still picture of the suspect that fraudulently cashed the federal social security check. The picture is very identifiable. It's as clear as a driver's license photo," says Detective Rob Sarrantonio with Lexington Police.
Police say he could be responsible for the crime.
"We're not sure if he's the actual person who stole the check or sometimes someone steals and someone cashes, but he is a suspect in this fraud," says Detective Rob Sarrantonio.
They're hoping you know who the man is.
