Police are looking for two women in a robbery case that they say stole from a Lexington retail store and assaulted a loss prevention officer.

They walk into the TJ Maxx on Lowery Lane with two children, but Lexington police say they weren't there to shop. They say they were stealing.

"They attempt to hide merchandise as they were walking around and put it in their purse and other places," says Detective Rob Sarrantonio with Lexington Police.

As the two women, who were caught on camera, attempt to leave the store they're stopped by a loss prevention officer. That's when one of the women assaults him when confronted.

"One of the female subjects punches the loss prevention officer in the face causing injury and they flee the area. They left in a 4 door Buick Regal," says Detective Rob Sarrantonio.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and they don't want your name, just your information.
