Crime Stoppers: Thieves go on shopping spree with stolen credit cards

The search is on for two men Lexington Police say went to a bar and stole someone's wallet, then used the credit cards inside to go on a shopping spree.

"On October 30, 2010, the two subjects used the credit cards to make numerous fraudulent purchases at Walmart, Kmart, Game Stop, purchasing numerous X-Box 360 video game systems, along with a 32 inch TV, and accessories," Det. Mike Helsby with Lexington Police said.

Police say more than $1,000 was spent on the stolen credit cards.

The two men police say were involved in this crime were caught on surveillance video. Police say it appears they were driving an older model red Chevy Avalanche.
