More than seven months after it happened, Lexington Police are still looking for those behind a shooting that sent three people to the hospital.
It happened in the early morning hours of February 4 along South Limestone.
Lexington Police say four men were heading to Tolly Ho restaurant, when they were approached by two other men in the parking lot of a nearby McDonald's.
After a confrontation, police say the four men moved on, but quickly realized they were being followed.
Police say the two men stopped the group on the sidewalk.
"In this location, the shorter of the two suspects produced a firearm and started shooting," Det. Franz Wolfe of Lexington Police said.
Police say two of the four men in the group were hit directly by bullets, while a third person, a passerby, was hit in the foot by a stray bullet.
"The two victims who were shot were seriously injured as a result," Wolfe said.
The gunmen got away in a green Camero or Monte Carlo.
