They went out for a good time, but ended up the victims of a crime.
Lexington Police want to find a man who befriended two people in a club, then stole from them.
Police say the suspect duped the victims, and stole one man's wallet, and the other's car.
Police say after the suspect took the money, keys, and car, he stopped at a gas station before making charges on one victim's credit card.
"I think they were left in a compromising situation where they were swiped, and they didn't realize until later when they actually needed them (the money and the car)," Lexington Police Detective Jeremiah Davis said.
Police say the suspect met the victims at a club in downtown Lexington, and based on the way the victims were acting towards him, they each believed the other knew who he was.
"And they each went along with it, allowing that man to be in their presence," Davis said.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
