UPDATE: Arrest made in deadly Laurel County motorcycle crash

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man has been arrested in a deadly Laurel County motorcycle crash that killed a Lexington man.

Anthony Raymond, 51, of London, is charged with manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to stop and render aid, and driving on DUI suspended license regarding a traffic crash.

In the crash, deputies say a purple Dodge Neon pulled out from Hazel Patch Road onto U.S. 25 into the path of a Harley Davidson motorcycle heading northbound on U.S. 25. The driver of the Neon reportedly ran into the woods. The driver of the Harley-Davidson, Randolph Scott, 71, of Lexington, was killed.

Raymond is listed in the Laurel County Detention Facility. He's been there since May 9 when he was arrested on an unrelated trafficking methamphetamine charge. Thursday's arrest comes after a joint investigation by London Police and Laurel County Sheriff's Office. Investigators say they would like to thank the citizens of Laurel County for their tips regarding this investigation.

Hundreds of Kentucky bikers honored Scott, one of their own, after he was killed.

Scott was very well known central and southern Kentucky. We're told he was taking part in the charity work that he loves when he was killed. Hundreds of his friends turned out for his funeral Monday, all of them riding in his honor from the Centenary Methodist Church where the services were held to the cemetery at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
