Crime Stoppers 3/13, Hit And Run

Lexington police say someone stole a car back on December 19th. The car was sitting in the parking lot at Jessie Clark Middle School with the keys in it, according to Detective Joe Hess.
Police say four hours later, the driver of the stolen car hit a parked car at the corner of Trent and Crosby roads. Police say a man was standing behind the parked car and was injured.
Det. Hess says the man almost lost his leg.
Police say the suspect driving the stolen car ran off after the accident. Police have yet to catch him.
Det. Hess says he believes the suspect lives in the area where the accident happened.
