LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police say an employee embezzled tens of thousands of dollars from an appliances and electronics store.
Caleb Harding has been cited for the crime.
Police say the HH Gregg employee stole $70,000 from HH Gregg over the course of two years.
Police say Harding was employed in a management position and had access to the company's financial information.
"It was someone who had access to company credit cards and company finances, so it wasn't just a run of the mill employee. It was somebody who had a higher level of access to the finances," said Sherelle Roberts, of the Lexington Police Department.
Harding is set to appear in court next month. It's expected that more details in the case will be revealed then.
