We first told you about this story a few months ago. Now police are releasing surveillance video of the suspects hoping it leads to some arrests in this week's Crime of the Week.
In mid-October, in the middle of the day, Ashley Penn was shopping at the Target in Hamburg Pavillion for her upcoming baby.
"We turned around for an instant to look at an article of clothing and turned back around and kept pushing and by the time I walked out of the store I realized my wallet was gone", Ashley Penn said on October 15th, 2009.
"Immediately the cards was used at that same location for some big ticket items", says Detective Eric Hobson with the Lexington Police Department.
Police say three people are responsible for the crime. They say after using her card at Target with the victim still inside, they moved on to Dick's Sporting Goods, DSW Shoes, and Best Buy where two of the suspects were caught on tape.
"They purchased televisions, and laptops...Those kinds of items. The total on the fraudulent charges were in excess of $4,000", says Detective Eric Hobson.
Crime Stoppers is now hoping you can tell them whose responsible for this crime.
