It all started at the Speedway on Versailles Road on January 30th. Two men help some women with a flat tire and then follow them home, where they assault and rob the victims.

On January 30th at the Speedway on Versailles Road, Lexington Police say two men volunteered to help two women with a flat tire. After helping, the two women drive away. On surveillance video, you can see the men then follow, leaving in a black Chevrolet Suburban with a gray stripe at the bottom. Police say they followed the women to a home on Fairdale Drive where they forced their way inside.

"They demanded money, cell phones, and other items. They ended up striking the victim several times with a handgun and then shot one victim in the back. He had non-life threatening injuries", says Detective William Persley with Lexington Police.

Police are hoping you know whose responsible.

"One was a white male described as wearing wire rimmed glasses with short blonde or brown hair. The other was a hispanic male described as bald and had a tattoo of a snake or scorpion on his neck and three teardrops on his right eye", says Detective William Persley.
