He's caught on tape trying to steal food and alcohol from the Kroger in Beaumont Center in Lexington and is also caught on surveillance fighting the loss prevention officer. Now Lexington police are hoping you can tell them who the robbery suspect is.

He appears to be a normal shopper, leaving the Kroger in the Beaumont Center after loading up his cart.

"He had 15 steaks and several cases of beer", says Detective Elizabeth Adams with Lexington Police.

However, Lexington Police say he didn't pay. That's when a loss prevention officer tries to stop him.

"He got into a physical altercation with a loss prevention guy and they actually rolled around on the floor struggling", says Detective Adams.

The whole incident is caught on tape. The officer trying to stop the shopper, and then the two getting into a fight. Just a few moments later the man takes off across the parking lot to a blue car. Now police are asking you to take a close look at the robbery suspect.

"He's an older white male with graying brown hear on the longer side, closer to his shoulders", says Detective Adams.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and they don't want your name...just your information.

Lousy investigating. Did he flee on foot? If he had 15 steaks and several cases of beer it is safe to say that he DROVE since that wouldn't fit in his Care-bear bicycle basket. How about look for the one abandoned car in the lot after watching for his return for it? Then run the registration and find out that IT IS in fact Patrick Swayze back from the dead to get lit and grill some steaks.....

The T-Bone Bandit strikes again. Cut that hair and grow a beard brother. I hope they never catch this guy, this is great! Even seems like Elizabeth the librarian detective thinks this is funny. The loss prevention security guard needs to find another line of work, that's obvious. Nobody looks better with a mullet than the T-Bone Bandit!
