Police are calling it willful damage. The Jessamine County Sheriff's department is investigating $50,000 in damage to a back hoe used by R.J. Corman Company.
Police say the suspects vandalized the backhoe off Ashgrove Road in May.
They say the windows were broken out, the control panels smashed, and sand was poured into the gas tank and oil access.
Police believe there are at least two suspects involved. They want to know who would destroyed a $135,000 piece of construction equipment.
