A man forgets his credit card at a Lexington grocery store and police say another man took advantage of the find, spending thousands of dollars on it. Now they're hoping you recognize the person responsible.

Police say this fraud case all goes back to late January. Someone was shopping at the Fresh Market in the Lansdowne Shopping Center and left their credit card.

"When he called his credit card company to cancel the credit card because he lost it, he realized there was a $3,000 purchase at Best Buy and an $1,800 dollar purchase from a store in Ashland, Kentucky", says Detective Rob Sarrantonio with Lexington Police.

Police say the man was caught on surveillance at the Lexington Best Buy. They're hoping someone knows who this man may be.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020. The call is anonymous.
