On May 22nd in front of the Marathon gas station on Alexandria Drive, you can clearly see in surveillance video someone with a crowbar. Police say they break into the store. That's when that person and two others go inside.

"They were in there for three to four minutes and while in there stole numerous cigarettes, they stole the cash register that was later found by the dumpster, and the safe," says Detective Jeremy Tuttle with Lexington Police.

Police say in that safe was thousands of dollars and a handgun. The three people are dressed the same with their faces covered.

"Covered head to toe in all black hoodies, black masks, gloves, dark jeans and they all seemed to have matching black shoes with white stripes," says Detective Jeremy Tuttle.

Police are hoping you know who it was that committed this burglary.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.

Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and they don't want your name, just your information.
