It was at Ride City Customs that Lexington Police say someone broke in the front door, and then out the garage door, making away with a valuable item.

"They brought their own helmet. They knew exactly what they were going for," says Detective Jeremiah Davis with Lexington Police.

Lexington Police say what they wanted was a custom motorcycle.
Cameras from surrounding businesses catch the person riding away on the bike.

"It's valued at more than $30,000. We're hoping someone will recognize the bike. It's very unique. It's very colorful and it has a lot of custom applications on it," says Det. Jeremiah Davis.

Being custom made, police are hoping you recognize the bike, which they say may have been repainted by now.

"There's a chance the body has changed on it. If you look at the rear swing arm, it's single sided. You can see one side of the wheel is completely exposed, in addition to the fact the bike has an air ride system on it," says Det. Davis.

While they say it's hard to make out the person on this video driving away with the stolen motorcycle, they're hoping someone may know whose responsible, or where this custom-bike now is.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. The number is 859-253-2020 and the call is anonymous.
