Lexington Police say they knew what they were doing. On Christmas Eve, a little before 2 a.m., two suspects dressed in black broke into the Home Depot on Richmond Road.

"One goes to the alarm box and looks at the alarm box for a minute or two while another waits outside then comes in. They immediately go to the back where an office is located where the money is kept," says Detective Carol Simms with Lexington Police.

They open the safe stealing money.

"You could tell they know exactly where they are going and what they are doing," says Detective Simms.

An ADT Security Company even calls the store. One of the suspects speak with them and give the proper information so they aren't alarmed.

"Yes ma'am. I just came back to get my briefcase out of the vault," says one of the suspects on the phone.

"The alarm people get more suspicious when some of the alarms start going off and nobody answers the phone this time," says Detective Simms.

They're hoping you know who these two people are.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and it's anonymous.
