Lexington Police are looking for a man who may be linked to two burglaries in one night! They happened in early October at an apartment complex on Foreman Avenue. Police are still looking for the person responsible and Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward.

Police say he first made his way through a window at an apartment complex on Foreman Avenue on October 9th.

"A female resident returned home and surprised the burglar in her apartment who physically assaulted her, knocking her unconscious. When she awoke, she found several items had been stolen," says Detective David Hester

An hour later, there was another incident at the same apartment complex.

"A female resident awoke to find a male subject in her apartment. He made an excuse for being in her apartment that he was looking for her roommate," says Detective David Hester.

With a vague description of the man, police are hoping you can help.

"He's a male white in his late teens or early twenties, wearing dark clothing. We believe they may be related to other burglaries in the UK area as well," says Detective Hester.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers today at 859-253-2020. It's a free call and they don't want your name, just your information.
