It's a case investigators have been trying to solve for months. Three men were found shot to death at a home in Clark County in March. Now an organization is trying to help police find answers in the triple murder.
For eight months there have been more questions than answers. Who shot three men in a Clark County home and why?
"It occurred March 21st, 2010. We responded to a residence on Pine Ridge Road in southern Clark County," says Detective Chris Short with Kentucky State Police.
That's where they would find 21-year-old Dustin Browning, 23-year-old Clayton Edge, and 24-year-old Robbie Reese.
"It appeared they had all been shot while they slept," says Detective Chris Short.
Authorities say in the last eight months they've gotten tips and information, but nothing has panned out in this murder case, which is why they're hoping a new reward could lead to new information.
"We're hoping this will help get people talking about it again and generate some information," says Detective Short.
To help do so, Crime Stoppers is now offering a $1,000 dollar cash reward in the case for information leading to an arrest. It's a case authorities say they are not giving up on. They're hoping someone will finally come forward in the case.
"No information is too small. If they know anything, even if they think it's not important, we ask them to please call and give us that information and we'll follow up on it," says Detective Short.
They're hoping this new reward will be enough to encourage someone to do just that.
"We want to solve all of our cases, but especially a murder case. It's important for the safety of the community, for the family, and to find who did this and put them in jail," says Detective Chris Short.
You can call Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020 with your tip and you can remain anonymous. Again, if your information leads to an arrest in this murder case, you can receive a cash reward.
