Inmate escapes Lexington prison

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - An inmate has walked away from the minimum-security prison in Lexington.

Billy Rose, 36, an inmate at the Blackburn Correctional Complex walked away Monday night around 9:43 p.m.

We're told Rose was serving a 15-year-sentence for convictions out of Pulaski County. Those charges include burglary, robbery, and trafficking in a controlled substance.

He's described as a white male, 6'1", 275 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
