Laurel County man arrested, accused of threatening sister with hatchet

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man after they say he threatened to kill his sister and chased her with a hatchet.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office charged Charles Perkins, 29, with terroristic threatening and resisting arrest.

Deputies say Perkins was intoxicated at the time and they had a brief struggle during his arrest.

They also say he admitted he was going to kill his sister and burn down her home.
