Packages thrown, U.S. Postal Service launches investigation

SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - The US Postal Service has launched an investigation. Surveillance video showed a postal carrier throwing packages from a car onto the ground.

Jill Smith, of Scott County, sent in a video showing a postal carrier throwing three packages out of a car window into her driveway.

Smith says the packages contained things she ordered from Amazon, one of them had electronics inside.

A spokesperson for the Postal Service called the video "disappointing," and said it doesn't represent the kind of service they strive for.

The Postal Service says its investigation will determine what actions to take in regards to the employee and customer.
