Police searching for man who tried to rob Lexington Rite Aid

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT)- Lexington Police are searching for a man they say tried to rob a pharmacy.

It happened just before 8pm at the Rite Aid on West Loudon Avenue.

Police say the man went up to the pharmacy counter and gave the clerk a note demanding prescription narcotics.

The note also claimed he had a weapon police say the employees didn't give him anything and the man ran off.

Lexington Police released a surveillance picture of the suspect.

They say he wore something covering his face and appears to be missing his right arm.
