Stray bullet goes into Lexington home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police are looking for the people involved in a shooting that caused a bullet to go through a window and into a home.

Around 3:00 p.m. Saturday someone fired shots near the intersection of Hollow Creek and La Salle.

They found a bullet hole going through a window and into the wall of a home on nearby Grant Street.

They do not believe shooters targeted the home.

Police recovered the bullet and some shell casings in the area.

"You know anytime you fire a gun shot, it's a substantial danger for those in the area on these nice days with their families," Lt. Chris Young says.

Police say they are questioning possible shooters at this time.
