'Galaxy' takes box office race

NEW YORK (AP) - "Guardians of the Galaxy" is the new box office leader. The movie took in $17.6 million dollars over the weekend to beat out "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" for the top spot on the list. The turtles took in $16.8 million, to grab the second slot. The new teen melodrama "If I Stay" had a strong opening, finishing third with $16.4 million, followed by "Let's Be Cops" and "When the Game Stands Tall."
