HBO says it is cancelling its horse racing series "Luck" following the death of a third horse during the production.
The decision was made by the network and executive producers David Milch and Michael Mann.
HBO says that the network maintained the highest safety standards throughout production... but "accidents unfortunately happen" and it would be impossible to guarantee that future accidents wouldn't occur.
The series stars Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.
