Lexington's big tipper suprises N.H. waitress with $500

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP/CBS) - The Kentucky man leaving giant tips at restaurants around the nation in the name of his late brother has struck in New Hampshire.

Seth Collins of Lexington handed a $500 tip Monday to 23-year-old waitress Taylor Dube at the Portsmouth Gas Light Co. Pizza Pub.

Waitress Taylor Dube says she normally makes $50 in tips on a given day at the Gaslight Pizza Pub

"I didn't know what to say, I was like, can I hug you? Can I hug you again?," said Dube.

Dube says the place was mostly empty when Collins walked in ordered the $6.50 pizza buffet and she only expected him to leave a couple bucks for a tip.

"Oh my god, i'm going to cry," said Dube. "I'm just the receiver, he's the hero."

This joy all started with Collins' brother, Aaron Collins. Aaron died last year, leaving behind a will requesting that his family go out to eat and leave an "awesome tip." Collins carried out and recorded his brother's last wish.

"I did it the first time, it went viral, people donated about 50-thousand dollars in a few days. Since then, I've been going around leaving five-hundred-dollar tips," said Collins.

Dube is the 84th person to get the big tip.

"I get to make their day and hopefully inspire generosity in that person. But beyond that, I'm creating this legacy for my brother," said Collins.
