Pot Pies Suspected In Salmonella Outbreak

Concerns about pot pies have Conagra Foods asking stores to stop selling some popular brands.

Banquet and generic brand chicken and turkey pot pies with P-9 on the side are linked to a salmonella outbreak in 30 states.

At least 20 people have been hospitalized, but no deaths are reported.

So far, there's no recall, Conagra is telling customers to throw the pot pies away.

These pot pies should be held accountable for their actions. I'm going to start a Class Action lawsuit against the pot pies, (not the manufacturer), but the pot pies themselves. I'm outraged and demand that these rogue pot pies be brought to justice! I suspect the pot pies also have ties to Al-Quaeda, and are using themselves as a potential weapon of mass destruction...

Companies are looking for the cheapest way to make things today and to top it off they're down sizing just about everything and then they turn around and jack prices to boot. I'm with the other comment as to what has happened with food inspections? Has everyone went to cutting so many corners to make a profit that the publics health and life is put at risk? It makes me wonder what will it have to come to before someone steps in and says enough is enough and does something about this problem. If something is not done, then soon there will not be anything safe left to eat.

Well let's see.....beef is not safe due to the e. coli, vegetables are not safe also due to e. coli, and now it's not even safe to eat these pop in the microwave foods due to salmonella. Can someone tell me what we are supposed to eat that won't make us sick and/or kill us?

We had pot pies for dinner last night, and I've been sick all day.Can we not trust any of the food we buy in the grocery stores today. What happened to food inspections before it became available to the public. At the rate we buy bad food, terror attacks should be moved down and put food at the top.
