Former Youth Minister Accused Of Preying On Teen Girl
A former Northern Kentucky youth minister is accused of luring a Madison County teenager who he met on online. Police say Tim Richerson, 39, of Green County met a 14-year old Richmond girl on Myspace and traveled to Central Kentucky several times to see her.

A former Northern Kentucky youth minister is accused of luring a Madison County teenager who he met on online. Police say Tim Richerson, 39, of Green County met a 14-year old Richmond girl on Myspace and traveled to Central Kentucky several times to see her.
Detectives caught him after the girl's mother found out about the relationship. The mother says her daughter was chatting with Richerson 10 to 12 times a day.
Investigators say the former Campbellsville youth minister was posing as a 16 year old on his Myspace account. The victim's mother says eventually he revealed his age. She says Richerson had planned to take her daughter's virginity on her 15th birthday. The mother says the two did have several secret meetings where they did have sexual contact but never intercourse.
Richerson is charged with using an electronic communication system to procure a minor. He's being held on 10-thousand dollars bond.

Folks, it PAYS to put in extra measures to monitor what your children are doing on MySpace, and various other sites. Yes, there are MORE! I did and I will never be sorry for trying to keep my child safe. They may get angry, but they don't hold grudges. My children are 6 years apart in age. The oldest went through all of that and now the youngest is learning the hard way. Don't feel guilty in this day and age. I'd rather have my child angry at me, then to lose my baby because I didn't try to do something to protect her.
These so called preachers are out of control! From the high office of cardinal all the way down to the youth minister of some 50 member country church. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inside they are ravenous wolves. And the funny thing is that you turn out your pockets and give them your money every time that they ask for it. Yet when a good honest preacher like Pastor Fred Phelps comes to town, you want to shed his blood on the streets of Lexington! The commonwealth tries to pass unconstitutional laws to keep him from preaching straight out of the Bible. Yet these perverts are held to the highest honor and given titles like "Reverend" (a title that appears no where in the Bible). Kentucky bred Richerson by feeding him a steady diet of lies and perversions. You sowed the wind now you reap the whirlwind!
