Father Charged In Death Of Infant Daughter

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A southern Kentucky man has been indicted on a second-degree manslaughter charge stemming from the death of his daughter earlier this month.

Marcus Bowers, of Maysville, is charged in connection with the death of his 6-week-old daughter, Ondreah Bowers.

The child died on Oct. 3 while in Bowers' care. The infant died of a subdural hematoma caused by trauma to the head, Maysville Police Det. Ken Fuller said.

to all of you who think you know everything about this. you dont. he didnt do it. he cries every day and night about the death of his daughter. you didnt spend every day with them like i did and you dont know how much he cared for her. how would you feel if you were in his position? didnt even get to go to his beautiful daugheters funeral? wouldnt it hurt so bad? yes it would. how would you feel to be blamed for something you didnt do AND cope with the emotions of your OWN DAUGHTERS death. like i said you dont know anything. he doesnt deserve any of it.

Jim, I would be glad to help you out! This scum needs to die and die now, not 20 years after a bunch of appeals! Fire up the electric chair if the courts think that lethal injections are bad, then let's just fire these bums up! I think the electric chair is really the best way anyway! It's quick and painful! That don't deserve an easy death! Murders have no mercy on their victims so why should we have mercy on them! I hope this man gets what's coming to him!
