London Man Charged With Setting Church On Fire

New information tonight about a suspicious fire at a Laurel County church.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Thomas Scott of London, and charged him with setting that fire yesterday.

The East London Church of God was heavily damaged.

Still no word if another suspicious fire at a nearby store is connected.

But, police think Scott might also be involved in several recent thefts around the church.

Another person too lazy to work for what they want? It's easier to steal and then set fire to the place than to hold down a job! I don't care if it was a church or someone's residence, he should be made to pay for rebuilding the place and for all the items he stole! Put him in jail and make him work for $1 a day to repay those people! That should take him the rest of his life! At least he won't be out to do more damage to someone else!
