Train Hits Car

A train hit a truck Tuesday morning in Floyd County, but state police say no one was injured.

It happened on Rt. 7 in Lackey.

Police say the truck was at a crossing in front of the Mi-Dee Mart when a train hit the front of the truck.

The scene was cleared this morning and traffic is moving again.

i was expecting to hear this sooner or later but was xpecting sooner actually..imsurprised it had not been alot worse..i live in knott co very close to Floyd co line in mousie...i have seen ppl at midi mart speed up and tr to "beat the train" only to win by inches...i think they need a set of those long wooden arms put across the roads there to protect ppl from their own stupidity....i have often seen the train stop at the midi mart for breakfast , lunch, and even dinner...lol wonder if is for food or for dumb ppls sake...lol
